Surf on Biarritz city
Biarritz, from an "East french" perspective (Lyon), it's "surf paradise"... the teenage dream of happiness. And that's not far from the truth, except that it's maybe more AROUND Biarritz that you still can find macro waves in a precious wild landscape... and that it's mostly become a senior paradise.
Still Biarritz is the headquarter of the Surfrider Foundation Europe, an ONG founded in 1990.
Located in the Atlantic coast, in the famous french Basque Country, Biarritz is closed to Bayonne, and only 35 kilometres far from Spain. Historically, he locality is the result of the union of two ancient settlement centers, one dedicated to agriculture and the other turned to marine trades.
